Kathryn Bowser

 

Kathryn Bowser is currently an art director/design consultant for social justice organizations. Prior to that, she was for many years the art director in the communications department of the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund. She was a founding partner and vice president of KJM3 Entertainment Group, a distribution and marketing company focused on films from the African diaspora by artists such as Julie Dash and Raoul Peck, and a film distribution manager for Mypheduh Films. She also worked as administrative director/festival bureau director for the Foundation for Independent Video and Film/Association of Independent Video and Filmmakers. She consulted with and represented independent filmmakers at festivals, panels, and workshops nationally and internationally.
