A cartoonist and community organizer, I have explored the globe as a doodlebugger, gandydancer, supernumerary steward, able seaman, wireman, monkey man, night baker, dishwasher, hobo, hitchhiker, and husband. I learned to sharpen my pencils at the University of Chicago and Harvard University prior to applying my inking pens to illustrations and cartoons drawn for the Hyde Park Herald, the Seattle Weekly, the Everett (WA) Herald, and the Seattle Times.
