Award-winning theatre artist, novelist and educator. The inaugural Humanist-in-Residence at the National Endowment for the Humanities and in 2020 a finalist for the Herb Alpert Award in Theatre and for the Francesca Primus Prize. THE TILL TRILOGY, her epic saga of civil rights icon, Emmett Till, will premiere this fall at Mosaic Theatre Company of DC with all three plays in rotating repertoire, beginning Oct 7, 2022.
